Sonia Isard is the Associate Editor at Lilith Magazine (independent, Jewish & frankly feminist), where she edits features, commissions new articles, and acts as lead editor for the website and blog. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she focused her studies on the history and literature of Jews in the Soviet Union. A native of Philadelphia, she now lives in Brooklyn.
